Fan Fiction
Original SF to Genre Science Fiction
What is fan fiction?
Fan fiction (also spelled fanfiction and commonly abbreviated to fanfic) is stories written by people who enjoy a film, novel, television show or other media work, using the characters and situations developed in it and developing new plots in which to use these characters. (As a matter of historical interest, it should be noted that in the pre-1965 era, the term "fan fiction" was used in scifi fandom to designate SF written by members of fandom and published in fanzines, as distinguished from fiction professionally published; this usage is now obsolete.)

Some of the worst fan fiction on the net!
Godawful Fan Fiction
Some of the worst fan fiction on the net! Try not to write like this.
Three small words that bring terror to the hearts and bile to the throats of the bravest souls. We've scoured the 'net since 1998 to bring you the foulest fan fiction available and we like to think that we're responsible for many a dry heave and sleepless night, but the truth of the matter is, we just showcase these abominations. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank those deluded souls actually writing Godawful Fan Fiction, without whom this site would never have been possible. Or necessary.
This site is hilarious and tragic. Even though we write fan fiction, we should take some time to learn the craft. The examples on this site are from people who haven't taken the time it appears to do that. It has some of the worst fan fiction I have ever read. From Star Trek to X-Files, if it's bad, this website has it complete with quick reviews of each entry. We could only include one Star Trek: Next Generation example here. It was too much for us! And there are more - Lords of Kobol, there are more! {screams} Read at your own risk!
