Dr. Ty's Strange Fiction NEW
by: Ty Walsh Trez

Hello Earth,
I am 'Dr. Ty' or 'Dr. Ty Walsh Trez' the author of these two volumes of 'strange fiction'. I am honored to be featured here on Science Fiction Buzz. I cannot remember not loving science fiction. Some of my earliest memories include watching Star Trek, Space 1999, The Bionic Woman, Twilight Zone, and Outer Limits on television and movies like Disney's 'The Cat from Outer Space' and 'Escape from Witch Mountain'... and a living VW Bug! I grew up reading mostly comics, Asimov, and King and watching tons of science fiction - Planet of the Apes, Star Wars, Blade Runner, Aliens, and Terminator. Many times, I would watch a film and try to predict the ending... whenever I was wrong, I would dwell on it and it would eventually make its way into one of my stories. I may have an idea for a story and jot down what I call 'the skeleton' (so I don't forget it as I so often do), then later go back and add the muscles, skin, hair... well you get the idea! I attempt to follow the teachings of Asimov in my writing. He says that you should always try to write short - easy to read sentences. There is no need to try and dazzle your audience with million dollar words and sentences that go on and on. The dazzle should be in the story. Also, I would like to think that I produce some Rod Serling elements in my stories as I often attempt to give a mind warping experience at the end... like when the last man on earth breaks his glasses when he starts to read a book... pure genius. Well, I have babbled enough. Best wishes to you all and please feel free to contact me anytime for any reason at StrangeFiction@yahoo.com -Ty
